This free-entry event brings the best of French food, wine, art, and culture to the heart of Adelaide, offering an authentic taste of France without the jet lag.
Festival Plaza will host more than 30 food stalls serving French favourites like raclette, crêpes, and croissants. Wine enthusiasts can explore five iconic French regions—Bordeaux, Champagne, Provence, Burgundy, and Alsace & Languedoc—through the Food Passport, granting access to signature dishes and curated wines from each region.

The Bastille Wine Walk also offers exclusive access and priority service at the festival’s wine bars, allowing guests to immerse themselves in France’s rich culture and world-class wines.
Beyond the culinary delights, the festival features more than 40 free performances, including street art, cancan performances, live bands, DJs, cabaret, circus acts, magicians, fire twirling, theatre, and dance parties. The Fire Pit Experience provides a cosy setting to gather with friends, enjoy warm mulled wine, savour delicious bites from the market, and roast marshmallows.

Bastille Festival Adelaide is a celebration of French culture, offering a unique opportunity to experience the joie de vivre of France right in the heart of Adelaide. Whether you’re a food lover, wine enthusiast, or culture seeker, this festival promises a memorable experience for all.
