Adelaide Fringe 2026: Nina Simone – A Musical Life

A mesmerising music cabaret celebrating the life and work of legendary singer‑pianist Nina Simone. Blending jazz, gospel, blues, folk, pop and classical, this heartfelt tribute by South Australian artist Bonnie Lee Galea and her Jazz in Cheek Quartet brings iconic songs and stories from Simone’s vast catalogue to the stage. From My Baby Just Cares for Me to Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood and Feelin’ Good. Expect passion, soul, rich musicianship and a journey through the intensity of Simone’s artistry and activism.
