Tunki ceviche masterclass

A hands-on culinary experience is coming to Tunki this autumn, with a series of intimate ceviche masterclasses led by Chef Krish Dutt.

Set within The Lakes Hotel overlooking the waterfront, Tunki is known for its distinctive Nikkei cuisine, blending vibrant Peruvian flavours with refined Japanese techniques. Now, guests have the opportunity to step behind the scenes and learn the art of ceviche from one of Adelaide’s most experienced seafood specialists.

Each session is capped at just 16 guests, ensuring a personalised and immersive experience. Attendees will watch a full fish filleting demonstration before diving into the intricacies of creating the iconic leche de tigre marinade. Along the way, Chef Krish shares insights into flavour balance, technique and the delicate chemistry behind “cooking” seafood without heat.

Guests are welcomed with a glass of sake on arrival and will leave with a curated take-home pack including a Tunki apron, recipes and signature sauces.
