Living leafy seadragon artwork at Port Willunga Beach
- 12 Apr 26
Internationally acclaimed Adelaide artist Emma Hack is inviting South Australians to take part in a powerful large-scale community artwork at Port Willunga Beach this April.
In a once-in-a-generation installation, 888 participants will come together to form the shape of a leafy seadragon using coloured clothing and body paint, creating a striking visual tribute to South Australia’s marine emblem. Captured from above through aerial photography and film, the artwork will form part of Hack’s new Ocean Movement series, highlighting the importance of protecting our oceans and the Great Southern Reef.
Participants aged 18 and over are invited to register and become part of this unique environmental and artistic experience, with proceeds supporting ocean conservation and environmental initiatives.
