KickStart for Kids period poverty fundraiser 2026
In South Australia, there are still girls who miss school during their period, not because they are unwell, but because they cannot afford the products they need. KickStart for Kids has spent five years working to change that, delivering sanitary products to hundreds of primary and high schools across the state.
On Friday 5 June, the charity holds its annual fundraiser at The Gallery on Waymouth, from 1pm to 3pm. The afternoon includes canapés, drinks, a wine wall, a silent auction and DJ entertainment from DJ Carzi. Media personality and KickStart for Kids ambassador Bec Morse returns as emcee, and Port Adelaide AFLW player Matilda Scholz will also be speaking.
