Fifty-seven masterworks from one of America’s most celebrated collections arrive in Adelaide this winter, tracing the revolutionary movements that transformed modern art. *Monet to Matisse: Defying Tradition* brings together iconic works by Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Matisse, Cézanne and more, charting the journey from Impressionism through Cubism, Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism.

Exclusive to the Art Gallery of South Australia, the exhibition draws from the Toledo Museum of Art’s world-renowned holdings, complemented by select works from AGSA’s own collection. It’s a rare opportunity to see these influential pieces without leaving our state.
