Marys Poppin has been a mainstay of Adelaide’s East End nightlife for years, its dance floor a place where performers and crowds create something that feels like home. Now, the venue is taking that energy somewhere new: the lawns of Sidewood Estate in the Adelaide Hills.
Poppin Corks, a brand new event from the team behind Marys, arrives on Saturday 27 February 2027. From 1pm to 8pm, guests can expect drag shows throughout the day, DJs from lunch until sunset, and all the bubbles, wine, cocktails and food that a Hills winery afternoon demands.
Sidewood Estate sits just 20 minutes from the city, making it an easy afternoon trip for those who want to trade the East End’s walls for wide lawns and vineyard views. The format invites you to settle in however suits: dance, find a spot in the undercover areas, or gather with friends while the Marys cast takes the party from afternoon into evening.
The lineup
The announced cast brings together some of the best-known names from the Marys stage: Alison Xpress, Berri Juicy, Boystress, Brooke Seto, Cleo Taurus, Ellie Delight, Estelle, Eve Elle, Glitzy Von Jagger, Jules Harlow, Kane Enable, Luci Furr, Mihz, Minty Hydrangea, Miss Jackson, Tritri, Venti and Xai.
“Marys has always been about the people who walk through our doors and the performers who make them feel at home,” says Stephen Craddock, owner of Marys Poppin and founder of Poppin Corks. “Poppin Corks lets us bring that feeling out into the sunshine, with a glass of wine in hand and the whole afternoon ahead of us.”

What to expect
Poppin Corks follows in the footsteps of Poppin Out, another event that takes the Marys community beyond its East End home. This time, the setting offers Adelaide’s queer community and everyone who wants to celebrate alongside it a proper day out in wine country.
For those who want a little extra space, a limited VIP offering includes private indoor and outdoor areas, cabanas, a dedicated bar and a private bathroom. General admission guests will have undercover areas and seating available across the event.
Buses will run from the city to Sidewood Estate and back again, so you can leave the car at home and commit to the afternoon.
