Minda is calling on South Australians to lend a hand at its annual Community Christmas Carols and Markets, taking place on Saturday 5 December at the organisation’s North Brighton grounds.
The event is Minda’s largest of the year, raising funds to close NDIS funding gaps and support the people in its care. It’s a proper family day out, with live performances, more than 50 market stalls, food trucks, rides and amusements, and a petting zoo. Santa Claus and Mrs Claus will also be making an appearance, with visits free of charge.
How you can help
Volunteers are needed across a range of roles to keep the day running smoothly. Opportunities include:
- Event set-up and pack-down
- Helping at activities and amusements
- Selling raffle tickets
- Giving directions to visiting families
Shifts start at 3.5 hours, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the event yourself and make the most of your day.
