BankSA has extended its Principal Partnership with Adelaide Fringe through to 2029, marking 22 years of support for one of South Australia’s most beloved cultural events. The renewed agreement brings parent company Westpac into the partnership, expanding the reach of cardholder offers and support for regional communities and local businesses.
Bringing Westpac on board broadens Adelaide Fringe’s national profile, with the aim of attracting more interstate visitors to experience the festival firsthand.
What it means for cardholders
Both BankSA and Westpac cardholders will receive 25 per cent off tickets to participating events, along with access to the Double Your Fun 2-for-1 presale across the entire program. With double the funding now available for the presale, twice as many discounted tickets can be offered, putting more money directly into artists’ pockets.
Regional reach and local business connections
The partnership will support Adelaide Fringe across the state, bringing festival experiences to regional communities. In Adelaide, it will feature at the new BankSA Westpac Fringe Corner at the Box Office, with co-branded activity across the city and the BankSA and Westpac network.
Behind the scenes, BankSA and Westpac will connect business customers with Adelaide Fringe’s procurement network and preferred supplier opportunities, creating more pathways for local businesses to contribute to the festival.
From the people involved
Adelaide Fringe CEO Marc Carnes said the partnership reflects the collaborative spirit that underpins the festival.
“As BankSA enters its 22nd year with Adelaide Fringe, this partnership is a powerful reminder that the festival is built by people and businesses choosing to back creativity, take part and make room for something new,” he said.
“Westpac joining BankSA gives that support greater reach. It means more people can access the festival, while more artists, venues, regional communities and local businesses are connected to the opportunities Adelaide Fringe creates.”
Enza Ferraro, Westpac BankSA State General Manager for SA/NT, said the extension was a natural fit.
“South Australians know there’s nothing quite like Fringe. For 22 years, we’ve helped more people enjoy the festival and extending the partnership to include Westpac means we can take that support even further,” she said.
“More cardholders will get access to ticket offers, while artists, regional communities and local businesses get more opportunities to take part. Our message is simple: pick a show and bring a friend.”
