Light for Nepal Fundraising Luncheon

The Hurley Hotel Group is hosting a fundraising luncheon at the Marion Hotel to support communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. Across the group’s venues, many team members call Nepal home, and for some, the disaster has directly impacted family, friends and hometowns.

The event falls on Bhai Tika, the final day of Tihar, the Nepali festival of light, when siblings come together to celebrate their bond and wish each other wellbeing. Guests will enjoy a shared Nepalese-inspired menu featuring vegetable pakora, chicken momo, slow-cooked lamb shoulder with Himalayan spices, and a coconut and cardamom panna cotta to finish. A three-hour drinks package is included, along with a live auction hosted by Chris Dittmar.

Half of every ticket price goes directly to the Emergency Action Alliance’s Nepal Flood Disaster Appeal.
