The Garden of Unearthly Delights continues to roll out new and exciting shows across its six-week season.

Australia’s favourite outdoor performance precinct at Rundle Park (Kadlitpina) has been dazzling festival goers during its most extraordinary season yet, featuring world-class magic, comedy, circus, cabaret, music and family fun, and new shows continue to open for its remaining weeks.

The Garden of Unearthly Delights has had a strong opening to its extended Adelaide Fringe season, with Fringe goers lapping up the renowned shows on offer, with many sessions having sold out over the first two weekends.

With more than 80 dazzling shows on offer, including 20 World and Australian premieres and 18 award-winning Garden debuts…and luckily, there plenty more still to come throughout the season!

Audiences can also look forward to the return of many beloved favourites and internationally renowned acts.

With a commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, the 2025 season also boasts an abundance of free entertainment and programming designed to welcome audiences from all walks of life.

For the remainder of the season, you won’t want to miss these shows before the end of the season on 23 March.

An Evening Without Kate Bush is an award-winning cult cabaret that pays tribute to the music, fans and mythology of one of the most influential voices in pop music.

Logie winning actor Rob Carlton returns with his hit show, Willing Participant, where he tells the stories from his 20s to his 50s, of sexual taboos, big lies, deep heartaches and blind hope, reminding us what it is to feel alive. Rob will also host Bravewords Live, a storytelling show where creative people share their personal anecdotes in front of a live audience.

For the comedy lovers, Damian Callinan hosts an improvised chat show with a rotating duo of Australia’s best comedians, actors and improvisers playing disparate characters from history, who just so happen to be Unlikely Friends – which is also the name of the show.

Other iconic comedians returning to the Garden are Sammy J, with his hilarious time-bending memoir The Kangaroo Effect, and Stephen K Amos with Work In Progress, a show full of brand-new ideas, freestyle musings and merrymaking to get your belly aching.

One of Adelaide Fringe’s most iconic shows, Best of Edinburgh Fest, returns to showcase some of the finest international talent, with three hilarious acts for the price of one.

A masterful blend of comedy and social commentary, Effie walks audience members through the political correctness in Effie in Up Yourselfness, as she tries to make sense of the latest version of human evolution without losing a sense of who we are.

Throughout the entire Garden season, be seduced by the world’s best variety artists in the world premiere of La Ronde, with aerialists, trapeze artists and cabaret that will leave you dumbstruck. So, too, will Limbo – The Return, from the creators of Blanc de Blanc, a spectacle that combines a fresh and intoxicating mix of cabaret, circus, acrobats and live music.

Michelle Buxton, Co-Director of The Garden of Unearthly Delights, was pleased with the opening few weeks of the season.

“We’ve had a great start to the 2025 season of The Garden, with many people coming to enjoy the plethora of shows and experiences on offer. Audiences are captivated from the moment they walk through the gates. There are only three more weeks left to enjoy all the critically acclaimed shows in The Garden. We look forward to seeing you there!”
