In a meeting at the Art Gallery of South Australia’s Atrium Foyer, clients of ECH connected with Adelaide Festival’s CEO Kath M Mainland and ECH CE Claire Scapinello prior to Grammy Award-winning American contralto Meredith Arwady’s Daylight Express performance.
Handpicked by artistic director Ruth Mackenzie, the performance held at Elder Hall wasn’t just about the music—it was a chance to bask in the venue’s exceptional acoustics.
Chief Executive of Adelaide Festival, Kath M Mainland, commended the collaboration with ECH, saying, “It’s so wonderful to work with ECH at the Festival and Writers’ Week. We’re passionate about being for all South Australians and as accessible to as many people as possible, so working with the team at ECH to develop special experiences for their clients and residents is really rewarding.”
Claire Scapinello, ECH CE, echoed Mainland’s sentiments, emphasizing the importance of such occasions for connecting with clients in a relaxed setting, stating, “It is opportunities such as these, where I get to share an experience and hear from our clients in a more relaxed setting. We are all different, and all have our own life path and what we are as people. The diversity of experience is celebrated here at the Festival.”
As Meredith Arwady, accompanied by Michael Ierace, delivered a diverse program with a bird-inspired theme, ECH clients were enraptured by her rich vocal prowess.
Janine, one of the ECH clients, lauded the event, saying, “We cannot speak highly enough of the quality of these events. It is so uplifting and good for our mental health to be swiped up in the creativity of these high calibre artists. We take our bikes into the city have no problems parking!”
Sponsoring the Adelaide Festival for the sixth consecutive year, ECH underscores its commitment to enriching the lives of its clients through cultural engagement. The Festival, with its eclectic offerings, encapsulates the human experience, from the emotive melodies to the thought-provoking performances.
