Soul-swallowing fun at Palace Nova’s Bonfire Horror Club

The Palace Nova's Bonfire Horror Club opens this month at the Eastend Cinemas.

WORDS: Dave Bradley, Arts Reviewer

The Palace Nova’s Bonfire Horror Club is all happening at the Eastend Cinemas, with the first monthly offering, Sam Raimi’s legendary original The Evil Dead (1981), to be shown in its gory glory on the huge screen on Friday March 31 (8.00pm arrivals, 8.30pm film).

With prizes donated by sponsors Greenlight Comics, Terror Vision Horror Podcast, and Underground Records, a Dark Oz publishing pop-up, movie-esque cocktails at the café bar, and more, this promises to be a the first of hopefully many nights of ghoulish fun. And yes, Danny Boyle’s ferocious 28 Days Later (2003) is the Bonfire title in April, and then no less than the seriously ‘krazy’ Killer Klowns From Outer Space (1988) is coming in May.

What are you waiting for? Get onto the website and book tickets as if your life depended on it… and it might!!!
