In Other Words brings together novelists, journalists, poets, playwrights, performers and creatives from around the world. In Other Words runs from November 3 to 5 at Adelaide Festival Centre.
In Other Words is OzAsia Festival’s forum for conversations about Australia’s engagement with Asia. Held across the Adelaide Festival Centre, In Other Words remains the largest gathering of Asian Australian writers and thinkers in the country. This year, In Other Words will welcome international guests from Indonesia, South Korea and Malaysia.
From local storytellers to Miles Franklin winners and nominees to international award-winners. Some of the writers featured for 2023 include: Walkley Award winner Mridula Amin, 2023 Singapore Books Awards finalist Karina Robles Bahrin, 2023 Miles Franklin Award winner Shankari Chandran, writer and broadcaster Benjamin Law, food writer and MasterChef alumni Sarah Tiong, broadcaster and journalist Beverley Wang, Shirley Le, Vidya Madabushi, Victorian Premier’s Literary Award winner Andre Dao, plus many more.
