Returning to Elder Park/Tarntanya Wama on Saturday 13 December 2025, the Carols promise an evening filled with Christmas cheer, community spirit, and show-stopping performances, continuing one of Adelaide’s most treasured seasonal traditions.
Jay and Paulini perfectly embody the joy, heart, and musical talent that define the Carols experience. Jay, the much-loved entertainer and storyteller, has become a familiar face at Carols and is synonymous with Christmas in Adelaide. Paulini, the powerhouse vocalist with an extraordinary range, has captured the nation’s hearts through her music and stage performances.

Jay Laga’aia is a celebrated New Zealand–Australian actor and singer, internationally known for his role as Captain Typho in Star Wars and beloved locally for his long-running work on Play School. Jay returns to Adelaide bringing his trademark warmth, humour, and sing-along energy, delighting families year after year.
Paulini rose to fame on the first season of Australian Idol, enchanting audiences with her five-octave range. Her debut album One Determined Heart and hit single Angel Eyes topped the ARIA charts, achieving platinum success. She has since starred in major stage productions including The Bodyguard, Saturday Night Fever, Hair: The Musical, and most recently appeared as the Teen Angel in Grease The Musical.
The event will be hosted by 7NEWS Adelaide personalities Rosanna Mangiarelli, Will Goodings, and Amelia Mulcahy, with more artists to be announced. This year, Carols will be broadcast nationally on Channel 7, 7Two, and 7Plus, both on Sunday 14 December 2025 and on Christmas Day, highlighting South Australia to audiences across the country.
