Must-not-miss shows at The Garden of Unearthly Delights 2024:

LIMBO - The Return, Adelaide Fringe 2024

LIMBO – The Return

WELCOME TO A PARTY OF OTHERWORLDLY PROPORTIONS!

A decade after the original LIMBO took the world by storm, LIMBO – THE RETURN debuts in Adelaide, transporting audiences to a sinister netherworld, combining a fresh and intoxicating mix of cabaret, circus, acrobatics, and Sxip’s Shirey (NY) ecstatic heart-pounding live music.

Cirque Alfonse's Animal: A Farm Fantasy Sensation

Cirque Alfonse – Animal

Back for the first time since 2019, internationally acclaimed circus legends, Cirque Alfonse, presents Animal, a “farm fantasy” production that takes audiences on a surreal journey through farm fables.

In this “farm fantasy”, the imagination conjures up stories from childhood, rural life proves to be both energetic and poetic, and clichés are joyfully turned on their head.

The Garden Feast

Be swept away on a world-first gastronomic journey curated by Africola’s Duncan Welgemoed and under the direction of internationally award-winning chefs.

Picture an immersive outdoor dinner party colliding with a carnival of outdoor performances. Guests will indulge in a fusion of global cuisines, from the age-old custom of the Māori Hāngi to contemporary charcoal and flame cooking. This is a culinary experience not to be missed – Two Nights Only!

Effie in Upyourselfness

I am… Cheap yet Expensive. Deep yet Shallow. Thick yet Thin.

I am a mass of contradictions, and I am not alone. There’s an ugly bitch-fight happening between political correctness and freedom of speech.

“Effie still manages to shock and surprise her audience every time she opens her mouth” – Adelaide Advertiser

The Garden Sessions

The Garden Sessions offer the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to an afternoon of amazing local music with our hand-picked program featuring some of the best emerging Indigenous SA musicians.

Located in The Garden Wine Bar each Saturday, giving you a place to relax before a show or simply take in the tunes and beautiful surroundings of Rundle Park. For more information, see here.

Sh!t-faced Shakespeare – Macbeth

Sh!t-faced Shakespeare is back with the hilarious blend of an entirely serious Shakespeare play with an entirely sh!t-faced actor. What could possibly go right? With a genuinely inebriated cast member each night, no two shows are ever the same. “The most fun I’ve ever had at the Fringe.

★★★★★ “I left with tears streaming down my face and a sore belly from laughing far far too hysterically hard” – Collage Adelaide

Frente

From the beer-soaked carpet of the Punters Club in Fitzroy to massive international stages, Frente has won hearts with singles such as ‘Ordinary Angels’, ‘Labour of Love’ and their acoustic take on New Order’s ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’.
