The Garden of Unearthly Delights has unveiled its first headline acts for 2027, and the lineup is a fitting way to mark the iconic Rundle Park venue’s 25th season of Fringe revelry. Presale tickets are now available for shows featuring two of Australia’s most beloved comedians and a production that promises to redefine spectacle.
For a quarter of a century, The Garden has been the beating heart of Adelaide Fringe. What began as a pop-up playground has become a destination in its own right, drawing performers from around the world and audiences who return year after year for that unmistakable mix of circus, comedy, cabaret and the genuinely unexpected. This milestone season looks set to deliver on all fronts.

Denise Scott: Tickety Boo
After more than a decade away from solo performance, Denise Scott has made a triumphant return to the stage. Her show Tickety Boo runs from 2–7 March and blends her trademark observational comedy with reflections on sanity, resilience, and the truly unexpected places where laughter can be found.
Scott’s career spans decades of Australian comedy, from her work on television to her stand-up roots. For those who have followed her since her early days on the Melbourne circuit, this solo return has been a long time coming. For anyone yet to experience her live, Tickety Boo offers a chance to see why she remains one of this country’s most respected comic voices.

Jimeoin: Ballyhoo
Australia’s favourite Irishman needs little introduction. Jimeoin returns to The Garden from 18–21 March with Ballyhoo, a show packed with the razor-sharp observations, infectious charm and laugh-out-loud stories that have made him one of the world’s most beloved comedians.
There is a warmth to Jimeoin’s comedy that has kept audiences coming back for decades. He finds the absurdity in the everyday, and his timing is impeccable. Whether he’s riffing on modern life or spinning yarns about the small indignities we all share, he makes it feel like you’re in on the joke with an old friend.

Loca Vida
If comedy feeds the mind, Loca Vida is there to dazzle the senses. Running from 12 February to 21 March, this is Strut & Fret’s biggest production yet, and the company behind some of Fringe’s most ambitious shows is promising deep showbiz spectacle of a kind audiences haven’t seen before.
Newcastle Live called it “properly jaw-dropping,” and the show invites audiences to dive headfirst into what it describes as “the crazy life.” Expect thrills, heat and theatrical ambition on a grand scale. For those who love the circus and cabaret side of Fringe, this is the production to book early.
Book early
The Garden of Unearthly Delights returns to Rundle Park (Kadlitpina) for its 25th season, and presale tickets for all three headline shows are available now. These shows have a history of selling out, so those keen to secure seats would do well to act sooner rather than later.
It’s going to be a season for the scrapbook. After 25 years of temptation and mischief, The Garden shows no signs of slowing down.
