- Expired!
Australia’s longest-running wine and food festival, the Clare Valley Gourmet Week, returns from May 16 to 25, 2025. It promises ten days of indulgence, discovery, and relaxed enjoyment in one of South Australia’s most picturesque regions. It’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate life’s simple pleasures surrounded by rolling vineyards and warm hospitality.
An invitation to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate life’s simple pleasures surrounded by rolling vineyards and warm hospitality, the celebrations begin with the Festival Weekend (16 to 18 May), where the valley comes alive with live music, gourmet food, and exceptional wines at beloved wineries.
A new highlight for 2025 is the Gourmet Bus Trail — a seamless way to enjoy curated winery experiences, complete with transport, meals, entertainment, and exclusive tastings. It’s the perfect option for visitors who’d rather relax and let someone else take care of the driving, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. Choose from themed trails, each offering a unique regional flavour.
Midweek, from 19 to 23 May, Breathe It In slowly invites guests to immerse themselves in the Clare Valley’s quieter charms. Enjoy intimate wine masterclasses, cooking schools, art workshops, guided tastings, and gentle country walks, offering deeper insights into the valley’s food, wine, and creative culture. It’s the perfect time to visit cellar doors at a leisurely pace, chat with winemakers, and discover hidden gems beyond the main trail.
The festival concludes with the Land of the Long Lunch (24 and 25 May), where leisurely multi-course lunches are served in stunning settings — from vineyard tables beneath gum trees to historic estates steeped in character. These lunches are made for lingering, sharing stories, and raising a glass with old and new friends while soaking up spectacular vineyard views.
