Concerto del Motore with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra

Location

Adelaide Town Hall
Adelaide Town Hall, Adelaide

17 - 18 Apr 26

Experience a thrilling fusion of music and motorsport as the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra premieres a bold new work, Concerto del Motore, at Adelaide Town Hall this April.

Part of the Symphony Series In the Quiet, this world premiere by Joe Chindamo is inspired by ASO Principal Clarinettist Dean Newcomb and his unique dual life as both musician and competitive drifting driver. The result is a dynamic, high-energy concerto exploring risk, precision and passion.

The program also features the atmospheric beauty of Quiet City by Aaron Copland and the sweeping romance of Symphony No. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninoff, offering a compelling contrast of stillness and intensity.
