Halal Food Festival

Adelaide’s first-ever Halal Food Festival, which celebrates multicultural cuisines from over 30 vibrant cultures from all around the world, will take place in Victoria Square this month on 25- 26 August.

With the largest variety of cuisines offered in a local food festival, people can explore the world through flavoursome tastes and smells.

Halal is the classification as being permissible in the Muslim faith, and wholesome.

Cuisines from over 30 countries on offer from stalls to pack the square include Moroccan, Syrian, Pakistani, Afghan, Greek, Indian, Lebanese, Turkish, Bosnian, Ethiopian, Thai, Vietnamese and Korean.

Entry is FREE and will take place in Victoria Square on Friday, 25th August from 11am to 10pm, and Saturday, 26th August from 11am to 10pm.
