Urban Kitchen returns to Rundle Mall – Food, fun and flavour for every generation

A man in a black shirt is chopping vegetables in a modern kitchen.
Adelaide’s favourite open-air kitchen is back! This May, Rundle Mall will once again come alive with the sights, smells and tastes of Urban Kitchen, a 10-day celebration of South Australian food, wine and produce.

With something for every palate and age group, this year, there’s even a first-ever kids’ cooking masterclass (a good one for the grandkids!)

This year’s program, running from Friday 2 to Sunday 11 May 2025, blends live cooking demonstrations, intimate masterclasses, and the opportunity to sample premium local produce and wine, all in the heart of the city.

Rundle Mall Executive Manager, Andrew White, says: “Urban Kitchen offers premium food and drink experiences that can be enjoyed no matter your budget and we’re excited to expand that to include food enthusiasts of all ages.”

“South Australians know and love Rundle Mall for its shopping, but they also come here for other exciting, memorable experiences like Urban Kitchen too,” he says.
