Taste the World at WOMADelaide 2024

WOMADelaide's Taste the World Restaurant is set to return this year, hosted at the Adelaide Zoo’s renowned Sanctuary – a lush escape into the world of South American and Caribbean-inspired cuisine, from March 8-11, 2024.

Boasting a backdrop of the zoo and the park, the Sanctuary Restaurant provides a panoramic setting to immerse oneself in a fusion of international influences, mirroring the eclectic essence of WOMADelaide’s diverse lineup. Jack Bird, the maestro behind the culinary creations, draws inspiration from Peru’s vibrant ingredients and innovative cooking techniques to craft an extraordinary menu that captures the heart of Peruvian gastronomy.

The dining experience at the Sanctuary Restaurant transcends the ordinary, offering a fine-dining escapade complete with full table service. It serves as an oasis for patrons to take a respite, relax, and indulge their culinary senses in a symphony of flavors. From the refreshing notes of salmon ceviche to the bold presence of blackened flank steak and the decadent sweetness of dulce de leche with drunken spiced fruit and rum Chantilly, the menu is a celebration of diverse tastes and textures.
