A fresh chapter for Seacliff Golf Course

Three men in white shirts and black hats stand together on a golf course, surrounded by green grass and trees.
Local golfers are teeing up for a bright new future as the City of Marion officially unveils the brand-new clubhouse at the beloved Seacliff Golf Course—formerly known as Marion Golf Park.

Perched atop rolling fairways with sweeping views of Adelaide’s coastline, the 9-hole course has long been a hidden gem. But for nearly 20 years, players have made do with a makeshift one-room clubhouse after the original building was demolished for safety reasons.

Now, thanks to a $6 million redevelopment, the long-awaited clubhouse is finally here—bringing renewed energy and opportunity to the community course.

Mayor of Marion Kris Hanna said, “For nearly 20 years, our local golfers have had to make do with a one-room ‘temporary’ clubhouse. We are thrilled to reveal this brand-new clubhouse for both members and visitors to enjoy.”

The upgraded facilities include a new clubhouse with bar and kitchen, a dedicated Pro-shop, improved landscaping, a new car park, and enhanced water supply to ensure long-term sustainability.

The new clubhouse has been built on the original site—connecting directly to the 1st tee, 9th green, driving range and practice areas. First opened in 1980, the course currently boasts around 80 members—a number expected to grow as word spreads about the refreshed facilities and modern clubhouse.

Whether you’ve been playing for years or just picking up your clubs again, Seacliff Golf Course is ready to welcome you back—with views, value and a brand-new venue worth swinging by.
