The popular car parade will take over Main Street, McLaren Vale, on Sunday, 12 April 2026, featuring hundreds of vintage and classic vehicles. Visitors can enjoy local wineries, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun, making it a full day out for car enthusiasts and lifestyle lovers alike.
Adding a fresh twist this year, the Vintage & Classic Charity Party at Chalk Hill will take place the evening before the parade, on Saturday, 11 April, replacing the traditional charity dinner. Open to the public, the party promises live entertainment and a stunning display of classic cars on the Chalk Hill lawns. Entry is $10, with proceeds supporting local charities, while food and drinks will be available to purchase on the night.

Event Chairman Nigel Williamson says this milestone year is the start of a new era for one of South Australia’s most iconic regional events:
“We are thrilled to be bringing back the McLaren Vale Vintage & Classic, ensuring that we are safeguarding this amazing event for generations to come. Our mission is simple – we are passionate volunteers driven to elevate our community by hosting a free event for all ages where the region as a whole benefits.”
He also highlighted the new Charity Party at Chalk Hill as a way for the community to gather before the parade.

Since it began in 2006, the McLaren Vale Vintage & Classic has drawn thousands of visitors annually, cementing its place as a signature event in the region. It attracts enthusiasts not just from South Australia, but also from interstate, particularly Victoria.
Vehicle owners are encouraged to register early to secure their place in this milestone event via the official website here.
