Their 58-foot sailing catamaran is a stable, spacious and beautifully appointed vessel, designed to offer comfort and connection to the sea.
Whether you’re looking to sail along the coastline at sunset with a glass in hand, encounter wild dolphins in their natural habitat, or gather friends for a private charter, Temptation Sailing has curated experiences for those who appreciate the finer things.
An Australian First in Dolphin Tourism Temptation is the first vessel in South Australia licensed to swim with wild dolphins, and since 2002, it has been quietly pioneering ethical, eco-certified marine experiences in the Gulf St Vincent.
These tours are rare not because the dolphins are hard to find, but because they are truly wild. There’s no feeding, no coaxing. The dolphins come of their own accord, often swimming within metres of the vessel. Indo-Pacific bottlenose and short-beaked common dolphins are known for their curiosity, and more often than not, they make their presence known in joyful fashion; leaping, circling, and interacting.
The tours are led by qualified marine biologists, who bring thoughtful interpretation to the experience. Their insights help guests understand the dolphins’ behaviours, habitat, and the broader marine ecology of the region.

Swim or stay dry
Guests can choose to stay comfortably on deck for the Dolphin Watch experience or take the plunge with a carefully managed Dolphin Swim. The Front Swim sees guests lying on a specially secured net between the bows of the catamaran, face-down just above the waterline, while dolphins swim below, often within arm’s reach. The Back Swim offers a more immersive perspective.
Swimmers hold onto lines trailing from the back of the vessel and view the dolphins from within the water. For those who prefer to keep dry, the 360-degree viewing deck offers uninterrupted views of the action. The atmosphere is calm and unhurried, allowing guests to truly absorb the moment.
Set your own pace
