What to expect: Cellar Door Fest Winter Edit

A large group of people seated at tables in a spacious indoor area, engaged in conversation and activities.
Adelaide’s much-anticipated Cellar Door Fest Winter Edit returns this July, offering a refined and intimate experience for those seeking to indulge in South Australia’s finest wines, spirits, and culinary delights.

Held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on July 11 and 12, this boutique festival promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for the modern over-50s looking to explore, savour, and connect.

Curated wine and spirit tastings

The Winter Edit showcases a selection of South Australia’s premier wineries and distilleries, including renowned names such as Dandelion Vineyards, Anvers Wines, and O’Leary Walker Wines. Attendees can sample a diverse range of varietals, from classic Cabernet Sauvignon to the emerging Gamay, all under one roof. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, the festival offers an opportunity to discover new favourites and engage directly with the makers behind the labels.

Gourmet food offerings

Complementing the exceptional beverages, the festival features a curated selection of local food producers and food trucks, ensuring a delightful culinary journey.

Take a delicious detour during your tasting journey with a visit to The Eatery – the buzzing heart of the Fest where some of Adelaide’s favourite food trucks come together in one irresistible line-up. From the aroma of freshly made paella at Paella Bar, to the bold flavours of Asian street food at Bao+, mouth-watering woodfired pizzas from La Mia Luna, and juicy, indulgent burgers courtesy of Caro Club – there’s something to suit every craving.

Need a pick-me-up between sips? Saltbush Creations will be pouring barista-made coffee to keep your energy (and palate) sharp.

Wander through the stalls and you’ll also discover a range of artisan food producers nestled among the beverage stands – offering everything from sweet treats to gourmet pantry staples. Whether you’re grazing or planning your next pairing, The Eatery promises a feast for all the senses.

For those seeking a more indulgent experience, pre-ordered South Australian cheese platters are available, providing the perfect pairing for your wine tastings.

Live music

The Winter Edit sets the stage for a memorable sensory experience with live performances from local artists spanning folk, indie, disco, and soul genres. Artists such as Ollie English, Trav Collins, and My Chérie will provide the soundtrack to your tasting journey, creating an atmosphere that is both lively and relaxed.
