Paul Kitching – aka PK – from Fuller and PK Says HI has been out and about enough over his 50+ years to still have his finger on the pulse for the best things to see, do and enjoy in our excellent state. While we all know life starts at 50, we also know what we like, right?! And yes, we are choosy about how we dedicate our precious spare time. With lots on offer, PK reckons these gems are all ‘too good now’ worthy…

Of course the inimitable Jeff Goldblum is a jazz singer and pianist as well as being the quirky, talented actor we all love. Goldblum and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra will celebrate the success of his ‘Still Blooming’ album on the global jazz/blues charts whilst introducing Goldblum’s forthcoming ‘Night Blooms’ release. This show promises to be an intimate yet exuberant evening of jazz and storytelling with a delicious dollop of Hollywood vibes! Massive.

Split Enz

Mon May 25
Adelaide Entertainment Centre

The icons return! Forming in New Zealand in 1972 before relocating to Australia in 1975, Split Enz is widely regarded as one of the most important antipodean groups of the last five decades. For the first time in 20 years, Split Enz returns with their Enz Tour. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness Split Enz live as Tim Finn, Eddie Rayner, Neil Finn and Noel Crombie reunite to perform their classic songs that defined an era.

The Beta Band

The Gov

“I will now sell five copies of The Three EPs by The Beta Band.” When John Cusack delivered this line in the 2000 film High Fidelity, underground experimental Scottish rock group The Beta Band was suddenly hot property. The band reached a new level of visibility and cult appeal when their song ‘Dry the Rain’ was immortalised in that now-famous scene, and we now get to hear it live in Adelaide. With plenty more fine tunes from The Beta Band’s 30 years of recording ready to share, this is set to be a sleeper hit of a gig!

Australian Rock Collective (ARC) plays Eagles

Sat Jun 20
Thebarton Theatre

I am obsessed with ‘The Last Resort’, the final track on the Eagles’ Hotel California album. I therefore will NOT MISS this show by ARC (Australian Rock Collective) as they perform the Eagles’ iconic album ‘Hotel California’ in full to mark its 50th anniversary alongside the Eagles’ biggest hits. ARC comprises four living legends in Australian rock music history: Kram (Spiderbait), Darren Middleton (Powderfinger), Mark Wilson (Jet) and Davey Lane (You Am I). This will be one of those crazy good shows you talk about forever.

And don’t miss…
