Adelaide’s beloved LGBTQIA+ arts and culture celebration, Feast Festival, returns 1–23 November 2025 with its largest program since 2013 – marking 50 years since South Australia decriminalised homosexuality.

The 28th annual festival features 117 events across 67 venues, spanning four weekends and engaging over 1,500 artists, producers and volunteers.

Festival CEO Tish Naughton says: “Not only have we grown the number of events by over 40 per cent, but we have more free events, more regional reach and more venues than we’ve seen in years.”

With a 42% increase in programming and double the number of regional events, this year’s theme – LIBERATION – reflects on progress while acknowledging that the journey towards equality continues.

Highlights:

Picnic in the Park
22 November, 11am–9pm – Whitmore Square/Iparrityi

Art, music and community

This year’s cover art by Oscar Arrais symbolises protest and queer voice, while the program also includes new works from Vitalstatix, and co-creations like Me, My Dad and the Holy Ghost with inSPACE.

Feast continues to champion new voices with half the program made up of South Australian premieres and original works.

Live music lovers can enjoy a pre-show at Her Majesty’s Theatre with baritone Morgan Pearse, a Celine Dion and Bee Gees tribute starring Tarryn Stokes, Kate DeAraugo and Greg Gould, and a Queer Club night at The Ed Castle.
