The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra’s She Speaks is back, bringing you four incredible performances over two days in and around Elder Hall, each with its own unique sound.

Join Adelaide Symphony Orchestra for an inspiring celebration of diverse musical voices. Co-curated by Anne Cawrse and Belinda Gehlert, She Speaks ignites the stage with the blazing contributions of women composers on Friday 31st of May and Saturday 1st of June.

Kickstart your Friday with Unearth — a lunchtime performance by the Australian String Quartet and the mesmerising Noriko Tadano on the shamisen. Then, in the evening, cosy up for Spirit — an intimate chamber concert featuring ASO musicians performing music by Mary Finsterer and Jennifer Higdon. ]

Settle in for Dynamic — a Saturday afternoon with Elder Music Lab and hear inspiring new music. The festival this year culminates in a concert aptly titled Discover, featuring the full power of the ASO. This magnificent concert — rich in beauty and compelling musical story-telling—features captivating music by women composers from Australia and beyond.
