Throughout Tasting Australia, the Community Kitchen will be the home of Flavours of the Market, where top local chefs will showcase their talents using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients from the Market on May 3rd, May 4th and May 10th, 2024.
Hosts and Masterchef alum, Mandy Hall and Larissa Sewell, will lead the culinary adventures, accompanied by a stellar lineup of chefs and producers including Tom Tilbury, Gabriele Pezzimenti, Rose Adam, Valerie Henbest, Chung Jae Lee and Krish Dutt.
Continuing the Market’s strong partnership with OzHarvest, resident OzHarvest chef Genevieve Harris will also be hosting a zero waste cooking demonstration – where shoppers will learn to get the most out of every ingredient and ensuring nothing goes to waste.
For the young foodies, Saturday’s program will feature kid-friendly cooking demonstrations by the talented crew at Sprout, ensuring a nutritious, fun and educational experience for all ages.
Adelaide Central Market General Manager Fabienne Reilly said shoppers and traders were looking forward to the program of free demonstrations.

Here you’ll find talented chefs sharing their favourite recipes, discover new ingredients and pick up outstanding fresh local produce.”

Shoppers can experience the magic of South Australia’s culinary scene as some of SA’s top chefs demonstrate their signature recipes, all while enjoying free live music and world-class Market vibe.
Also part of the Tasting Australia program, shoppers can continue their gastronomic adventure with a free self-guided audio tour of the Market led by foodies Adam Liaw and Katie Spain. Explore the Market’s diverse food offerings, multi-generational traders and hidden foodie gems while indulging your culinary curiosity.
