Coal Cellar + Grill, a city favourite

Food on table
Coal Cellar + Grill, Hilton Hotel
Hilton Adelaide’s signature restaurant, Coal Cellar + Grill, epitomises the South Australian culinary experience. This elegant yet informal restaurant plates the best of local produce and offers hand-picked wines from top cellar doors, right in the heart of the city.

This year Hilton Adelaide celebrates its 40th Birthday. Reflecting on the hotels dining history from The Grange Restaurant and The Brasserie to Coal Cellar + Grill, the hotel has developed a reputation of its own for showcasing local produce and suppliers in a philosophy that has stood the test of time and formed their trademark cuisine style of Seriously South Australian®.

Just in time for summer, the creative team of chefs have designed a new menu to once again highlight the quality of local ingredients within their dishes and their passion and knowledge of timeless culinary techniques.

Using a variety of cooking methods including the feature charcoal grill and rotisserie, the modern grill menu has a balance of seafood, vegetarian and meat dishes including the show-stopping signature 1.2kg Tomahawk steak.

Coal Cellar + Grill truly is a food and wine enthusiast’s playground! Boasting an impressive 3000-bottle glass-encased wine cellar, the majority from South Australia. Wines include bold Shiraz’s from the world famous Barossa Valley to crisp Clare Valley Rieslings.

As well as a contemporary Lobby lounge bar. This is best experienced in luxury daily at their exclusive Champagne Hour. Enjoy various Champagnes from the fruity and seductive Moet Rose to the magnetic, yet still-elusive Dom Perignon.

Coal Cellar + Grill provides the perfect atmosphere to experience the best of food and wine South Australia has to offer.
