36 Short Distillery, namesake harks back to the suit size of Con and Jon Lioulios’ father, Pando. The business is the realisation of the dream of their late father to distill Raika, a fruit spirit popular in the Balkans, with a modern twist.
Established in 2014 on the plains of Virginia, South Australia, the pair begun distilling Raika in an Australian first. The Raika is made using a secret family recipe passed down from father to son over three-generations.
Since then, they’ve expanded their range to include Award-Winning Gin, Vodka, Whiskey, Limoncello and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Their premium spirit range is made using only the finest locally sourced Australian ingredients. What’s more, is there are no added artificial, flavours and perservatives.
Pando’s spirit and his passion for his family, friends and good times is the bench mark for 36 Short.
