The Barossa Vintage Festival is back in April 2023! From the 19th to the 23rd of April the Barossa will be buzzing with activities and events for everyone. This open-access cultural festival is a celebration of the region’s rich history, vibrant community, and of course, its renowned wine.
The Barossa Vintage Festival has been held biennially since 1947, making it one of the most enduring events of its kind in Australia. The festival features a diverse range of activities, including food and wine tastings, musical performances, art exhibitions, historical tours, and much more.
One of the festival’s most popular events is the Turkey Flat The Secret Garden Party, held on Sunday 23rd April. Turkey Flat is nestled on the outskirts of Tanunda and is encompassed by historic vineyards dating back to 1847.
The tranquil gardens of the Turkey Flat Cellar Door will be transformed into a vibrant mix of food, wine, music, and entertainment. Enjoy the amazing food by The Bearded Cook and fabulous wines by Turkey Flat, available to purchase all day, along with beer and food and drinks for the little ones.
Get ready to unwind and soak up the vintage vibe – bring along your deck chairs or picnic rugs and let yourself relax. Meanwhile, the little ones can enjoy lawn games, face painting, and a range of other exciting activities.
With your ticket, you’ll have access to The Secret Garden, receive a complimentary wine glass, and be treated to a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. What’s more, kids under 18 can attend for free!
