20 South Australian farms where you can buy direct

There’s something satisfying about buying food from the people who grew or raised it. You know where it came from, how it was produced, and your money goes straight to the farmer. South Australia has a thriving network of producers selling direct to customers, whether through farm gates, online ordering, or weekly farmers’ market stalls.

These 20 farms offer everything from grass-fed beef and pasture-raised poultry to organic vegetables, raw honey and cold-pressed olive oil. Most are family operations, many practise regenerative or organic methods, and all of them welcome customers who want to buy better.
