Star Discount Chemist will be doing their part to protect the South Australian community from what is expected to be a bumper influenza season in 2023.
South Australian Star Discount Chemist stores and related Star Pharmacy independent community pharmacies are urging all members of the community to book their flu vaccinations via online bookings or walk-ins (selected stores only) now.
Peter Piliouras, CEO of Star Pharmacy Group says they are expecting a high demand for the vaccinations following on from last year’s flu season which returned with a vengeance after the previous few years of restrictions.
“Our pharmacy team is ready to deliver flu vaccinations in their local community to assist everyone in having a healthier winter season.
“A very effective way to protect yourself and vulnerable members of our community is to receive the vaccination before the winter season hits,” Peter said.
From April until the end of May, Business SA members will also be able to access a corporate vaccination program providing their businesses and staff with the opportunity to get a kickstart on receiving flu vaccinations, as well as the option of a co-administered COVID-19 vaccination.
The partnership with Business SA allows Star Discount Chemist to deliver important health services for the Business SA community.
The flagship Star Discount Chemist in Pasadena Shopping Centre just finished its new store fit out, making it one of many SA locations where the corporate vaccinations will take place next month.
