Sunset Lover is a community of forward-thinking, empowered, and curious individuals. Ran by the incredible, Melanie Flintoft (Australian Fashion Labels), after previously owning and scaling 7 fast fashion brands in a 30 year career.
Melanie and, husband-slash-business-partner, Dean, became aware of the many issues with the fashion industry and the catastrophic consequences of industry practices globally. Taking knowledge into action they began building a direct to consumer sustainable and compostable fashion brand.
Today, Sunset Lover is dedicated to driving positive social impact through the lens of design. A new narrative of fashion, working towards a transparent, circular, regenerative and inclusive industry.

The Banana Palm is the hero print of this drop. Sourced from the South Australia Museum archives the original artwork comprised of a black and white illustration of the iconic Melanesian Palm of the old-world tropics.
The plant’s leaves offered an opportunity for interpretation through abstract placements, tiling and embroidery.
