State Opera South Australia’s Golden Jubilee Season continues with Mozart’s Don Giovanni at Barossa Arts Centre, and FIFTY+SA has two double passes to give away for opening night. The season marks a major milestone for State Opera’s Golden Jubilee celebrations and the 30th anniversary of Opera Australia’s National Touring program.
Conductor Simon Bruckard leads a cast of exceptional singers and musicians, including a local children’s chorus from Faith Lutheran College, in director Michael Gow’s dynamic production. Part comedy, part thriller and part supernatural reckoning, Don Giovanni follows opera’s most notorious libertine as his seductions and schemes finally catch up with him.
