For two weeks only, shoppers can indulge in Batter Boy’s signature scrolls and housemade cookies, including their much-loved classic cinnamon scroll – a soft, buttery favourite topped with signature cream cheese frosting that often sells out fast.
Founded in 2023 by Timicka, a passionate home baker, alongside Sam and Vanessa, Batter Boy began as an experiment in New York-style cookies, eventually evolving into a business that blends nostalgic comfort food with a modern edge.
“We saw the scroll scene hadn’t quite taken off here, and we wanted to fill that gap,” said Timicka, co-founder and head baker. “Our goal has always been to create comfort food that feels nostalgic but exciting at the same time.”
The team decided to focus on perfecting the ultimate bakery-style scroll, and it’s clearly paid off. Their indulgent treats have quickly gained a loyal following across the city.
“The Adelaide Central Market has always been a part of our lives – it’s where we shop, eat, and draw inspiration,” the founders say.
“To be a part of that legacy, even for a short time, is such an honour. We’re excited to bring something new to the mix and connect with customers who love quality and creativity as much as we do.”
